JLPT Kanji N4 (New Complete Master Series The Japanese Language Proficiency Test : N4) Chinese Characters

Introduction This book is a kanji textbook for those who want to acquire N4 level kanji and pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.  You will learn 278 kanji at N4 level and master all 300 kanji at N5 and N4 level in all 15 times (each time consists of 2 of (1) and (2)).

One of the major features of this book is that instead of learning by picking up kanji one by one, it is learned as words written in kanji (kanji words), and those kanji are used in texts such as announcements and memos.  It means starting by reading the word.  And another feature is that, as a general rule, you will learn only one reading per kanji (for example, only Kun reading). 

The reason for this approach is that, first of all, “Kanji is necessary for word notation”, and I think that it is basic to experience everyday situations that are used as Kanji words.  The number of words that this book is intended for is still limited.  That is why I think that a learning method that pursues the “form (pronunciation and notation), meaning, and usage” of words at the same time is suitable.
